I’ve been visiting Walt Disney World since I was a little girl and have been many times over again. I love every moment I spend there, as it truly fills me with a magical feeling. In fact, I’m even getting married there in September.

Good About the Walt Disney World Trip Secrets Shared

There are some wonderful things about this guide when preparing for Walt Disney World vacations. First and foremost, I thought I knew every trick in the book when it came to Walt Disney World, but I found I was wrong after reading the Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide. For a ‘Disney Expert’ I was quite pleased to find that I picked up a lot of great tips.

What I really loved about reading this guide was that you can feel her passion for Disney and that she truly wants to help you find an affordable way to visit Disney World.

Another thing that is really unique is that she constantly updates the guide. At any time, if you own her guide, you can go and get the latest updated version. In fact, she updates this guide multiple times per month to make sure everyone truly has the best Disney tips for the current season. There’s no shortage of Disney World vacation packages 2011.

Criticism of the Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide

This is a review and nothing’s perfect. Although about 95% of this guide is hugely beneficial to anyone that is thinking about visiting Walt Disney World, there are a few bits of information that I found myself wanting to skip over because I didn’t really find it to be useful. However, that’s just me, based on what my needs are. Those very same topics may be exactly what someone else is looking for.

There are many ways to find Walt Disney World vacation deals if you know where to look. I’ve been enjoying Walt Disney World trips for many years and I’ve picked up a few tricks here and there. But over time, I’ve really been able to find ways to enjoy Disney and save a lot. This is what has allowed me to visit Walt Disney World as often as I have without going broke.

Here are a few more tips that you may find helpful before enjoying the Walt Disney World Vacation Deals Video.

Disney’s Magical Express

To start off your cheap Disney World vacations, you can get free transportation when traveling from the airport to your hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. The Magical Express is a free service available to Disney guests. This will save you up to $200 in round trip costs to and from the hotel from the airport. They’ll also take care of your luggage for you if you would like and they will bring it to your rooms. Again, there’s no cost for this.

Disney Park Tickets

Whatever you do, don’t purchase your Disney Theme Park tickets at the park itself. There are many places and ways to save on tickets before your visit. Take advantage of these Walt Disney World vacation specials. You can even get a free day to a park.

Disney Dining Package

You can save up to 30% on the cost of food by including the Disney Dining Package into your vacation package. Food is something that a lot of people forget to budget for and end up spending a fortune on. Plan ahead and save yourself the money.

Disney Souvenirs 

If you’re looking for Walt Disney World vacation deals, know that souvenirs don’t come cheap at Disney. You can usually get something very similar on the internet for a fraction of the price. For example, you can get a Mickey Mouse t-shirt for about $5 at a discount store. You’ll pay about $30 for a similar t-shirt at Disney World. As you can see, even Walt Disney World discounts don’t always have to come from Disney, itself.

Time is Money

Here’s a little tip to help you save time at the parks and enjoy more of the day on the attractions rather than waiting for them. Many of the rides have multiple lines. Always choose the line on the left. You’ll wait a lot less, even if the line looks longer. Additionally, make sure to take advantage of the FastPass rides. Grab a FastPass for free and show up when the ticket tells you to. No waiting!

Ponchos at Disney

Rain is often finding its way through the Disney area. There are ponchos available at all the parks, but if you plan ahead, you won’t have to pay a fortune for one. You can pick up an inexpensive poncho outside of Disney for a dollar or two. You won’t find any Walt Disney World deals when it comes to ponchos at the parks.

About Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is a truly magical place that I’ve been enjoying since I was a little girl. Before we jump into finding Walt Disney World vacation deals,, I want to take a minute to share with you some of different things to know about the resort. Please keep in mind that this is a very basic listing of information, but I’ll be sharing a lot more with you.

Walt Disney World consists of four theme parks, two water parks, multiple hotels, many events, and a huge variety of dining options. You’ll have the ability to put together a variety of Disney World packages, and then customized them to meet your own personal and family needs .  You can get more information about Disney World facts and history at Wikipedia. But for now, enjoy the basics!

Theme Parks

The four theme parks are the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and of course Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Rumor has it that they’re planning a new theme park to be built soon as well. My favorite is definitely the Magic Kingdom, but I really enjoy visiting Epcot too. Epcot is actually my dad’s favorite theme park.

Water Parks

Walt Disney World features two unique water parks; Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. These are great options when looking for a day to have some fun and cool off in the Florida sun at the same time.

Hotels

For my personal Walt Disney World vacations, I have stayed at many of the different Walt Disney World resorts. The hotels range from the Value Resorts to Deluxe Villas. There’s even a campground to stay at! I’ll be getting married in Walt Disney World in September and I’ll be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. I can’t wait!

Dining

There are so many different restaurants at Walt Disney World. I’ve eaten at many of them and enjoy trying new ones as well. It doesn’t matter what kind of food you like, you’ll find something for your taste at Disney World. One thing I love about Epcot is that you can enjoy authentic foods from around the world. This is one category that I can’t wait to share some Walt Disney World vacation deals about.

Walt Disney World Vacation Deals – Basics

There are a few basics to know about when looking for Walt Disney World vacation deals. Walt Disney World Resort is a truly magical experience for anyone of any age, but because it’s like no other place on Earth, it can be quite expensive if you don’t have a strategy in place. So let’s take a few minutes together and I can share a couple of very basic ideas (and when I say basic, they really are just quick little tips).

Walt Disney World Vacation Packages

Sometimes it’s possible to save considerable money and get great Walt Disney World vacation deals by putting together a package deal at Walt Disney World rather than purchasing separately. Depending on the travel website that you may order from, there can be some great packages that include lodging, theme park passes, activities, food, and more.

Walt Disney World Hotel Tips

There are many hotels at Walt Disney World Resort to choose from. The first tip many share about hotels would be considering staying at a hotel that’s not on Disney property. However there are some draw-backs to this and I don’t recommend it. Although you may save money, you’ll most likely need a rental car. When you stay at a hotel on Disney property, you get free transportation to the different Disney locations. You can also get free transportation from the airport when staying at a Disney hotel. Considering this, my advice would be to take a look at the Value Resorts at Walt Disney World, such as the Pop Century or All Star Resorts. If you enjoy camping, you can also stay at Fort Wilderness.

If you are a Florida Resident, you’re in luck. Disney usually offers discounts to those of you who may live in Florida allowing you to get cheap Disney World vacations. You lucky ducks!

Another thing to consider is your flexibility around when you’re planning your visit. The more flexible you are, the more you can save. Why pay a fortune to go during the peak season just so you can wait in longer lines and be overcome by larger crowds? Instead, go during the slow season to not only save money, but to avoid the long lines as well.

Walt Disney World Dining Tips

Most people don’t consider the cost of food when budgeting for a vacation, but this can be a big mistake. Eating at Walt Disney World will end up being quite costly if you don’t have a plan ahead of time. This is an area that you can really find some great Walt Disney World vacation deals.

The kids meals are actually quite filling and usually only cost around $5.00. I tend to have a kids menu and lunch and then have a normal size meal for dinner.

Bring snacks to the parks! Purchasing snacks at the different theme parks at Disney World will add up. Do a little shopping ahead of time and save a little extra.

Some accommodations include a kitchen setup or even just a fridge. Take advantage of this by buying food from the grocery store instead of spending at some of the costly Disney restaurants.

Get the souvenir mug. Most of the resorts offer a souvenir mug that you can fill up whenever you want, so you’re not constantly buying drinks. Think about it. If you’re a family of four and you each got three drinks per day at two dollars, that’s twenty four dollars a day in drinks. If your stay is a week long, it totals up to one hundred and sixty eight dollars just for a few drinks each day. Ouch! Instead get the souvenir mug. Besides, that’s one less souvenir that you’ll have to buy. :-)
